The belt is crafted of two plies of top-grain leather, permanently bonded together, then topstitched for reinforcement and a refined finish. The result is a stiff carrying platform (nearly 1/4-inch thick) that won’t twist or sag under the load of police equipment. That same stiffness—combined with the unique buckle design—allows the tongue end of the belt to lie flat, without the need for a keeper loop, for an extra-clean and sleek appearance.
