I'll start by reviewing how to prepare our star material for this project, paper raffia! It's an amazing plant fiber that is strong and durable and available in its natural state or dyed to provide pops of color in your work. Next, we'll get going on our baskets, and I'll talk about sizing, shaping, and how to customize it to truly make it your own. Once you've mastered the wrapped coiling technique, you'll get in the flow and relax through the repetitive motion until your basket weaving is complete.
