Small dish with clovers 1 – soda fired

Small dish / trinket dish with clovers, inspired by beautiful clover meadows in Maine. I made this dish at my residency in Watershed Ceramics and fired in a group firing in a soda kiln. Soda firing is done in a gas kiln and soda is introduced into a kiln at high temperatures. Soda vaporizes and creates a glaze with varied effects on the surface of ceramics. This piece was thrown on a potter's wheel. Decoration was done by hand using multiple layered techniques using underglazes and glazes.  4.5" diameter x 1” h approx. All pottery is food safe and microwave safe. Washing by hand is recommended to extend the life of pottery.
