Rhodonite is an uncommon mineral consisting of a pink manganese inosilicate. It is a member of the mineral group pyroxenoid, crystalizing in the triclinic system. Black manganese oxides occur as a matrix within the stone making it look like it has black veining throughout the stone. Mohs Hardness: 5.5 - 6
