LOW STOCK ALERT This bedgown pattern is based on original English bedgown c1760s/1770s.  The bedgown is fully lined with long sleeves that can be turned up to make a cuff or left long. It is a looser fitting T-shaped garment that will fit a range of sizes.  Recommend fabrics are lightweight woolen flannels, linsey woolsey, linen, chintz and printed cottons.  Period construction is noted in the directions with alternate hand finish/machine directions also included. An easy starter project for the beginning seamstress. Instructions for sewing a petticoat, apron and handkerchief are also included which makes this a great option for someone just starting out in 18th century living history.
