Heuer Ref. 289.801 Master-Time Dash Clock

A seldom seen Heuer dash clock, part of the Master-Time line. The Master-Time was sold both alone and as a set with the Auto Rally as part of the Rally series of dash clocks. Time only, and boasting one of the few historic "8 Day" movements, it is both a piece of automobile and horologic history. The 8 day movement is named so as it has an 8 day power reserve when fully would giving it anywhere from 2-4x the running time of other watches of the era.
