Athletes United Lacrosse Strength Training Program
Athletes United Strength Program has been developed to target the training market of ANY athlete looking to enhance his/her overall performance on the field by learning the proper functions and techniques through strength training. Using this program in addition to proper nutrition can help you obtain the best results. The purpose of strength training is to reduce the risk of injury and enhance performance. This program uses a systematic approach to improve general strength and power while emphasizing full body movement. Muscular strength dictates athletic performance. The AU Strength Program was developed by NCAA Division I Strength and Conditioning Coaches. This program contains: 4 full weeks of resistance training circuits consisting of a mix of plyometric (jump), bodyweight and hypertrophy (muscle and strength building) training.
