Shoveler Drake Duck Decoy FINE SHOVELER DRAKE by William Ethington, Columbus, NJ. Very good original paint and structural condition. Some minor discoloration to white area on one side. Hollow construction. Raised wing tips and fluted tail carving. Nice painted feather detailed to back and sides. Turned head model with glass eyes and detailed bill carving. Retains maker's pad weight with impressed "E" and leather rigging. Signed by maker and branded "E". For information on this carver, see "Hunting and Fishing Collectibles," Nov./Dec. 2007 issue. Overall length is approximately 16 1/2 inches.
