Sleeping Black Duck Decoy OUTSTANDING SLEEPING BLACK DUCK Decoy by William Ethington, Columbus, NJ. Excellent original paint and structural condition. Hollow construction. Delaware River model with snug head. Very detailed painted feather work over entire back and paint ticking to head and lower neck. Raised wing tips and fluted tail carving. Retains half-closed glass eyes. Bill with nostril and mandible carving. Retains weight with maker's impressed "E" and leather rigging. Dated 5/30/71. Overall length is approximately 15 1/2 inches. Outstanding in all respects!
