JBL AC28 2x8" Compact 2-Way Speaker 120x60 White

The AC28 from JBL is a compact full-range loudspeaker system designed to provide maximum SPL and bandwidth within a single visually unobtrusive package. The enclosure is engineered to enable installation in very close proximity to walls and ceilings - making it a great choice for mounting under balconies, columns or on walls. It features a 1" exit compression driver high frequency component integrated into a newly-designed rotatable PT™ (Progressive Transition) waveguide which offers even coverage throughout its intended coverage area. It's a combination that exhibits smooth power response via JBL's Filtered Array Technology (FAT™) which independently controls the dual woofers for magnitude and phase response, all resulting in extremely natural voicing quality. It utilizes dual 8” Symmetrical Field Geometry (SFG™) LF Transducers, each with a copper-clad aluminum edge-wound 2.5" voice coil along with a copper-clad pole piece that all delivers improved performance through the reduction of voice coil inductance and distortion. A rugged multi-ply hardwood enclosure working in concert with its user-selectable crossover network adds flexibility and performance enhancement all to ensure complete accuracy of the high-frequency coverage pattern regardless of whether the unit is being used in the vertical or in the horizontal orientation when the horn is rotated. Mounting points are provided for an optional U-bracket and for an OmniMount® type bracket (brackets sold separately). It's also equipped with attachment points located on the bottom of the enclosure for a stand mount accessory (sold separately). Its rugged plywood enclosure features JBL's textured DuraFlex™ finish and is equipped with a heavy duty powder coated steel, foam-backed grille. Available in either Black or White.
