The moon was so bright and clear, allowing you to see all of the craters. I’m always telling my friends to go look at the moon, when it’s a particularly full or large moon—and I am especially grateful to the friends who actually step outside of their homes to check it out! But sometimes they aren’t able to see it from their location. So, I tried to capture the glow and luminosity of this particular night’s moon for them. 🌕 Plein Air Painting from life, is always a special way of creating art. Capturing the energy of the moment and getting to decide which parts to include or not include. By utilizing a limited pallet and limited brushes, I am forced to get creative in how each detail is portrayed.
