Valerian Root

Origin: China Botanical Name:  Valeriana wallichii Description: Valerian is a flowering perennial native to Europe, Asia and the Americas.  It is woody and fibrous with a "cheesy" odor.  May help with anxiety, insomnia, and muscle pain.  It may also increase focus and reduce hyperactive behavior in children.  Do not drive or operate heavy machinery. (no caffeine, low antioxidant) Brewing Instructions:  Use 1 teaspoon of tea leaves per 8 oz of water. Steep in just boiled water that is around 200°F-212°F, for 3-5 minutes or longer, depending on taste.
