Blondie Retro Bar

A throwback cookie bar, the Aunt Cookie Blondie combines both Belgian white and semi-sweet chocolate chunks to bring your taste buds to present day euphoria! The Blondie’s story is of a recipe that has gone through trials (melting the butter…a definite no) and errors (underbaking so they’d be ooey and gooey...wrong!) since the 70’s when I first started baking at home. Fast forward to today, this Retro Bar is a product of years of experimenting to create the perfect balance of combined chocolate, less sugar, pure sweet vanilla, and melt in your mouth richness.  Step back in time for sure with this vintage dessert!
