Verstappen notched three podium finishes in his first four races driving the RB16 – the 2020 model for Aston Martin Red Bull Racing. The team's engineers borrowed a concept popularized by Mercedes three years earlier, adding a large "cape" element to the nose of the car. They also raised parts of the rear suspension and expanded the supporting pillars on the rear wing from one on the RB15 to two.
