Glenfiddich 14 Year Old Bourbon Barrel

This expression takes Glenfiddich spirit, and ages it for 14 years. The dram is initially aged in former Bourbon American oak casks, before being finished for a period of charred new American oak barrels from the Kelvin Cooperage in Louisville, Kentucky. This finish supercharges the spirit with rich, vanilla-led oak notes. The final product is a vibrant whisky that delivers notes of ripe apples, some hay-like grassy notes, toffee, honeyed malt, buttery oak, cornbread, thick vanilla custard, barrel char, sweet red cherries, milk chocolate and ripe bananas.
