Umi'i 'akoko sticker

3.25" x 1.3" weatherproof, waterproof vinyl sticker. These odd-looking planthoppers (Dictyophorodelphax mirabilis) depend on our native 'akoko (Euphorbia spp.) as a host plant. Their long heads contain an expansion of their digestive system! The purpose of this is unknown; it may be to help digest 'akoko sap, a unique camouflage, or could be defensive. Whatever the reason, it's cute. These bugs are endemic to Hawai'i.
