Coop Tender Controller Light Sensor Assembly

The Coop Tender Light Sensor Assembly is a light dependent resistor with sensitivity in the visible light region and is installed just above the keypad on the control panel assembly. The CdS photoresistor photocell is mounted on a 2-pin ceramic and the photocell surface is plastic encapsulated for moisture resistance. Advanced Photonix’s CdS Photocells are photoresistor cells for visible light measurementdesigned to sense light from 400 to 700 nm. Their resistance decreases as the light levelincreases with efficiency characteristics similar to the human eye. A clear plastic lens and associated mounting hardware are included.
