An extremely rare collectors piece, this large 99.5 inch wide four-seat sculptural sofa by Vladimir Kagan for Grosfeld House, designed and produced within the 1950s in the United States, is fully original including its original fabric and sculptural walnut base, and is documented in early Grosfeld House advertisements. Coming from the original single owner's estate along with an entire set of 1950s Vladimir Kagan for Grosfeld House furniture and a pair of Kagan-Dreyfuss (also 1950s) caned armchairs. As you can see in the photos, the set includes this sofa, a swivel lounge chair, set of nesting tables, caned cabinet, desk (now sold), desk chair and pair of caned armchairs (by Kagan-Dreyfuss).
