2014.5 - 2019 SELECT TOYOTA RADIOS Smartphones have become a part if everyday life. With the Auto-Play system you can now bring that connectivity into the car. The Auto-Play system will allow the 2 MAJOR devices App platforms complete control through select Toyota factory  radios. Once installed the TOYAPMOD will allow full "Touch" control on the factory screen of the smartphone device app.   NOTE:  This interface will retain the factory camera.  It WILL NOT add a rear camera.  To add a rear camera the TOYMCHARN1 OR TOYMCHARN2 is required.   REQUIREMENTS Not compatible with the factory 360 system. See Vehicle Fitment for details. FEATURES Adds Apple Carplay and Android Auto while retaining factory controls and factory touchscreen. Auto-detects and switches over when iPhone or Android are connected. Wired connection from the interface to your smartphone function with Apple Carplay and Android Auto mode. Factory microphone will retain its function during Apple Carplay and Android Auto use. Smartphone will charge while connected during Apple Carplay and Android Auto mode. Additional Information : Aux Input mode is use to provide sound for Carplay/Android Auto. Faint pop noise may happen during vehicle turn on while in AUX mode. Volume level indicator change will not show in Apple Carplay / Android Auto mode. Display quality is limited to factory Toyota's screen resolution.
