TiAL Sport MVR 44mm Wastegate

The MVR44 is the newest wastegate in TiAL's Lineup and is the direct replacement for the now discontinued TiAL V44 44mm Wastegate. It is the first wastegate in their lineup to feature water-cooling capability. There is a water inlet and outlet fitting that cycles a small amount of coolant through the actuator to keep the temperature under control in extreme applications like road racing. Wastegates are an essential part of any turbocharged powerplant. Controlling boost not only ensures that you are maintaining the correct pressures for the fuel you are running, but it also prevents over-boost situations where the turbocharger is forced to spin faster than it would like.
