Young Summers Print
The magnolia tree livedin the center of my childhood, arms wide, blossoms like open handsoffering something sacredand oversized. They were huge, those petals, like nature had leaned inand whispered,go ahead, be bold. I spent hours beneath them, barefoot in the grass, watching shadows flickeracross aqua blue light, sun filtered through leaves, the world softenedbut still glowing. That tree knew thingsI didn’t yet, about seasons, about staying still long enoughto witness something smallbecome something new. Now when I paint magnolias,I paint that feeling, cool light, wide skies, and the hush of a summerthat seemed likeit would never end. -------------------------------- Canvas: Acid-free, archival grade canvas, 1.5" thick Image is mirrored around canvas edges Solid wood stretcher bars prevent bowing and warping over time Arrives ready to hang with wire attached Paper: Archival grade hot press fine art paper Arrives unframed, best for customizing your final look FREE U.S. shipping – see checkout f
