Belle Pente Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2023
Just when you think it can't get better...it does. Belle Pente strolls in with a bonkers-delicious 2023 Willamette Valley Pinot. Sure, we expect excellence from them but the '23 is extra-excellent. Made from nearly three quarters Belle Pente Vineyard fruit, it's generous, forward, and lushly silky while keeping a vivid energy. Belle Pente fans: obvious case-material. Value Pinot fans: obvious case material. We're fine sounding like a broken record when the result is this delicious. 2022 vintage notes Brian and Jill: The 2022 version of our "entry level" bottling is primarily from Jason and Cheryl Tsai's Resplendor (formerly Elvenglade) Vineyard in the northern part of Yamhill-Carlton near Gaston. We were able to secure 10 tons of fruit from this terrific 25 year-old vineyard in the last moments of the 2022 harvest to make up for a shortfall in our estate vineyard due to frost damage in April. True to it's Yamhill-Carlton roots, this wine reflects the darker side of Pinot Noir flav
