Original Hand Painted Animation Cel Background from Unknown Series Column Anime Cel Background

Original hand painted animation background from an unknown series. This background would have been used as the base for a scene (or possibly multiple scenes, backgrounds are often reused) in an animated series. This appears to be a multicolored column. Because of the more abstract nature of this background we're not sure if this is from a western animation or an anime given as there's no obvious top or bottom so the registration hole drawings which generally help narrow that down aren't helpful. The art style makes us lean more towards anime, but we can't say definitively. This background in great condition no noticeable wear on the painted surface just minor wear on the edges. Though with all animation art please expect some wear from the production filming process and subsequent storage.  Overall this is a great looking background and would be a great way to complete one of your cel set-ups.
