Hand painted production anime cel used in the making of he Sailor Moon Classic season. If you are unfamiliar with animation cels, they are hand painted frames of animation that were used to make an animated series of film. Each production cel or sketch represents part of the movement process and are hand painted or hand drawn by animators so no two are exactly alike. They're a lot like movie props. This is a close up portrait shot of Pollux one of the dual Youma, Castor and Pollux, from Episode 21. This is Pollux staring down the Sailor Senshi before attacking with her partner Castor. This is a single layer cel labeled B17 and comes with it's matching douga (animator's sketch) Cel was has line fading and some minor wear keeping with a Sailor Moon cel of this vintage.
