This small sculpture features a whimsical scene of nature and beauty that is protected within a glass dome. Growing out of a sparkling quartz geode is a mini rose with natural red and cream colored petals.  An adorable western worker honey bee hovers over the rose. The base is made of wood. This sculpture measures approx. 4”x3”. All parts are permanently attached. Bees are a matriarchal society led by the queen bee and entirely run by the worker bees who are all female. Since the males (drone bees) only  purpose is for mating, they get kicked out of the hive during the winter, when food is becomes scarce. So, bees symbolize the strength found in women working together to create change. They also remind us to trust women in leadership positions.  In non-gendered symbolism: bees represent harmony, collaboration, and hard work, the bee spirit animal serves as a guiding force in our lives, teaching us valuable lessons about teamwork and perseverance.
