16th Century French gilt wood and painted carving of the Madonna and Child. This charming rendition is beautifully carved, the blue robes with gilt trim and decorations. The faces of the Madonna and Child, showing a sweet serenity. A lovely carving to have nearby, to gaze on periodically during the day as a reminder to be in the moment.
