Chinese Archaistic Bronze Lidded Vessel with Bird Handles

A Chinese bronze lidded ritual vessel modeled after a Late Warring States, 3rd-2nd century BC original. With four whimsical birds form handles as well as a mushroom shaped ornament on the lid. The entire surface covered with incised Archaistic designs. Wonderful form with deep emerald green bronze and reddish patina.
