Manufacturer: ParagonModel Number: unknown Date Sold: December 3rd, 2016 Sold on Ebay for: $7800.00 A Super Rare Big and Beautiful 3 Blade Scimitar WWI display propeller from Paragon of Baltimore, MD for the Classic Curtiss JN-4 "Jenny" with the Curtiss OX-5 engine in Excellent Condition. This wonderful propeller features 7 laminations of White Oak, excellent copper edges, near perfect original decals, extensive engravings, beautiful wood grain and finish. The 8 bolt holes match the Curtiss OX-5 engine (water-cooled 8 cylinder making 90HP). The Signal Corps. number and cloverleaf shows usage for WWI. We believe this propeller was manufactured around 1916-18. The Curtiss JN-4 "Jenny" was the classic training aircraft of WWI and the premier barnstorming aircraft after the war.
