Once the wheel has been chemically stripped, every curve, peak and recess is sanded and polished to produce a stunning mirror-finish. This is a painstaking process that is undertaken entirely by hand, accumulating over 100 hours of work from start to finish. The inside of the table is powder-coated black, whilst a 40 inch piece of toughened, polished glass sits on top. A beautiful piece of airplane furniture that creates a distinctive atmospheric statement. The original aircraft tyre is then wrapped in the finest quality leather to finish a stunning statement piece.
