Second Day of Creation - "Waters"

On the second day of creation, G-d split the waters above (heavens) and the waters below (Earth).  For this piece, I meditated on how the spiritual realms reflect into the physical world and how the waters above and the waters below are all interconnected.  This is the second of a seven-piece collaboration on the biblical days of creation with Kalman Gavriel Delmoor, also known as “The Jerusalem Scribe”.   The calligraphy is the first few verses straight from the Torah. Kalman wrote the verses in ink using traditional calligraphy with his own unique style, and then I added all the color.
