The Journey Begins

This inspirational series began as a way to share the story of my spiritual journey, piece by piece.   "The Journey Begins” represents the story of searching deep within to find one’s inner essence. Our Inner essence fuels the mind, body, and spirit. It is the Godly spark that ignites all living matter.  It is what makes each of us uniquely individual, but also what makes us an integral part of the whole.   Where does the journey actually begin?  It all starts with a thought.  Not just any thought - a deep thought.  One that makes us question and contemplates our entire existence.  These soul searching questions help execute our personal growth.  Who Are We?  Why were we put here?  And What Lights us up? After contemplation, comes intention and action. That moment we make a conscious decision to step outside WHO WE THOUGHT WE WERE,  in order to step into WHO WE REALLY ARE.  We must go to that place “within” to search deeper into our true selves.  Easier said than done…  What thoughts and practices will help us reach this inner light? Listen to the quiet voice that's inside and give it full permission to speak up loud and clear. That is the intuitive voice that wants to guide us along this beautiful and expansive journey. In this painting, there is a path that leads to great light, shining brightly from its core. It represents the spiritual path that guides our transformative shift into the higher self, but it also depicts something deeper.  It acknowledges what lives in the face of the unknown. This is no easy path to walk.  We must break through our fears of what we will encounter there, which oftentimes means working through our past traumas.  This is where the healing begins. With the deep desire to GROW for the better, we can begin to nourish and align with our soul’s true purpose here on earth.  Are you ready to become who YOU ARE MEANT TO BE?
