Rootdown Trousseau hails from California's smallest AVA, Cole Ranch. The winemaker, Mike Lucia, has transformed this small appellation into a haven for grapes of the Jura. The 2023 Trousseau showcases notes of red plum, strawberry, and cranberry laying on a bead of pink peppercorns, hibiscus tea, rose pedals, and fresh earth. Palate is bright, crunchy and satisfyingly long.
