Collector's Object︲Surfboards

 Sufboards are treated as canvases. Found textures, crystals, gold leaf, lace, and silks worked into the surface by hand. A celebration of where the studio lives, in surf culture, where the ocean is a constant presence. All boards are repurposed from local makers here in Southern California. Some sourced from our community, others from our own garage. We often have sample boards ridden by local pros. Made in pairs and triptychs. Commissions welcome. Surf culture is where the studio lives and the collection is a celebration of it.  Skimboards are usually what smaller kids start on before the big boards and I see a little Rocket in each one I make. The collection is a reminder of what it felt like to be a child and free, with the sand and the sea.
