The Pearls Plant is a "leafy" pearl-like succulent vine, native to dry area of Southwest Africa. Recently moved from the huge genus Senecio into the new genus Curio, is likely to be identified as Senecio rowleyanus in the literature and horticulture trade. Senecio grows from frail surface roots, often under bushes or between rocks to provide protection from intense sunlight.
