When you thought 20 cents is what a budget switch is going to cost, it is obvious you haven't seen the Z1 switches. In my opinion, the Z1 switch might be the budget switch of the year. Price is only one of the many reasons for that. MZ Studio created its own molds and production line for the Z1 switches to minimize production costs. What that means is that the molds are specifically designed to get the best out of the Z1 switches. MZ also worked on refining the factory lube method and formula so the factory lube job on these switches is just right. The Z1 switches sound great due to its choice of material and the smoothness is not bad at all. However, they are not perfect switches. When you compare them to other great linear switches manufactured by BSUN or HMX, they are more scratchy and might not sound as "heavenly".
