Flathead Beater - Red Edition The AXiS Flathead Beater-Red Edition is designed to be a lightweight yet top-heavy beater suitable for multiple playing styles. This Versatile beater allows you to dial in for speed, power, and tone without sacrificing volume. The titanium beater shaft reduces overall weight while the aluminum beater head (anodized in AXiS Red) provides a top-heavy, yet balanced feel and extra weight for a more powerful swing. Like our classic Flathead Beater, the beater head is self-aligning, which means it lands flat every time - maximizing impact and reducing wear on the drum head. Each beater has three (3) paying surfaces to choose from - Felt, Cork, or Aluminum - each providing a unique tone and responsiveness. In addition, every Flathead comes with our 1.5 oz fully adjustable AXiS Beater Weight allowing you to find the exact power and balance you are looking for.
