Each element is carefully shaped and layered, forming a flexible structure that moves between protection and adornment. Referencing the natural architecture of fish scales, the piece explores how small, repeated forms can generate a larger sculptural presence. The layered surface creates a shifting field of texture and shadow, allowing the work to change subtly as it moves with the wearer. By combining soft organic materials with metal elements—sterling silver, yellow bronze, and lava beads—the necklace balances fragility and resilience.
