If you are looking for a neat and succint book with which  to polish your French, either as you read and study Le Français Par La Méthode Nature and Étude Progressive de la Langue Française or upon having finished using them, Keetels' An Analytical and Practical French Grammar is most likely to be one of the most useful, if not the most useful, resources available out there. Despite the fact that by their own such books are not the smartest ways to learn a language, used as supplements, they come quite handy.  What makes this book superior to its likes is that it explains everything succintly and then gives loads of both oral and written exercises to be fulfilled. This comprehensive French grammar book, used in conjunction with the other resources we provide as Ayan Academy, some of which mentioned above, is a quick way to render explicit that which is implicit in your French learning. Not to mention, the quantity of examples and exercises given in this book makes it a fantastic "drill book" with which to train your brain to not actively use French, but also expose yourself to even more comprehensible input.
