This collection is made of some of the most systematic and analytical courses and grammar books and a voluminous 3 volume reader with facing English translation. This collection consist of 4 books and 6 volumes, first 3 of which being leatherbound, The Persian Reader being paperback. 1-) Persian grammar by Ann K. S. Lambton is a pretty comprehensive Persian course first written in 1953 and then reprinted with corrections in 1960. This course consists of 21 lessons filling about 290 pages total. It abounds vocabulary and includes a myriad of drills and exercises. 2-) Modern Persian Conversation-Grammar is another Persian course similar to that of Lambton, however, they are several reasons to say that this Method Gaspey-Otto-Sauer book is rather intensive compared to the former. It is also arguably a comprehensive Persian course for new pupils and a serious book for those who'd like to review their knowledge of the Persian grammar.
