Yun Hai Dried Pineapple

Golden Diamond Pineapples are a variety of pineapple unique to Taiwan, famous not only for their flavor, but also their soft, edible cores. These are sliced into thick rings and dried simply without further processing. Each piece is rich with bright pineapple flavor and an aroma unique to Taiwan.This product is part of a line of dried fruit that was created via crowdfunding on Kickstarter to support Taiwanese farmers that are vulnerable to trade volatility between Taiwan and China. Yun Hai started this project in March of 2021, when China banned imports of Taiwan pineapples nearly overnight, wiping out 90% of Taiwan's export market and leaving farmers scrambling to find buyers.
