Laura Elizabeth | Susan Earrings These earrings are a cast from a REAL sea star (AKA starfish)  The size of the earrings are just under 1/2 an inch in diameter Earring post is sterling silver (due to possible allergies) Earrings are sustainably and ethically made from 100% recycled brass and gold or silver plated Earrings are plated with 3 microns of 14 karat gold or sterling silver (versus the common 1 micron) making the earrings sparkle longer There's no nickel, cadmium or lead in our jewelry - making it nontoxic My mom and I co-designed this earring together and named her Susan after Susan B Anthony. My parents raised me and my siblings to stand up for our values and to fight for equality on all fronts. Both my sister and I attended women's colleges, and we both strive to live up to the examples set by the strong, supportive women who came before us; women who fought for equal rights throughout history.
