Petrified Dunes | Artisan Soap

Shea Butter & Apricot Kernel Oil  It's otherworldly beauty. Petrified sand dunes appear to be flash-frozen in time. You can almost picture dinosaurs roaming the sandy mountains, now solidified for all time. We based this soap on the famous "Wave" located in the Coyote Buttes area of the Arizona-Utah border.  In order to see The Wave, you have to obtain one of only 20 permits (10 walk in, 10 walk out) per day from the US Bureau of Land Management (BLM). April, May, September, October often see over 150 people applying for the ten walk-in daily permits.  It's a six-mile round trip hike to get in and there are no trails. If you can't rely on your map and compass or GPS, it's better not to go at all. Many people die getting to or from the rock formations.  This incredible soap smells of black tea and bergamot with a touch of sage to remind you of days past and perhaps, of days to come.  We combined it with vegetable oils and organic butters to bring you a unique marbling design and d
