GROVE.

Title: “GROVE” Medium: Acrylic on canvas Size: 30 x 40 in Year: 6/30/2025 Edition: 1/1 (signed) Description: My “GROVE” painting is a piece that was heavily inspired by the time I spent growing up on Cottage Grove. A place in the city (Chicago) where I saw my people make something out of nothing. Take what little we had and showed me that it’s not always about what you have, but what you do with it which was my focus for this piece. In order to make this piece come to life,  I used anything I could possibly find within my pile of art supplies. All materials are listed below. Materials: Spray paint, paint markers, acrylic paint, heat transfer vinyl, rose patches from an old denim jacket, cut up pieces from my first poster / zine print, and multiple sparks of creativity. One of my favorite things about this piece is that it speaks to my artist style which is not having a niche and the use of colors as well.
