Description: Echoing and imitating the natural erosion of the earth as viewed through a lava flow. The color flows from bright red to a deep red burnished with black. This hand-made, hand felted sculptural coat wraps the wearer in a soft coat of armor. The design of the coat is both opaque and transparent. The visible black fabric between the wool squares is transparent black silk chiffon which allows for the garments worn underneath to be glimpsed through a veil.
