Baah New York is made from 100% superwash merino wool and is single ply, fingering weight. This yarn base is great for lace knitting, or even makes a great alternative for patterns that call for mohair!  Each delicate skein of Baah Yarn New York is carefully hand painted in small batches in their Las Vegas studio, using only high-quality yarn and professional grade dyes. Please keep in mind that the colors shown on the screen may vary due to differences in computer screen calibration. As with all hand-dyed yarns, each skein takes on a slightly different appearance (even when dyed together). No two will look identical, which makes each skein unique! An all time favorite wash is V05 shampoo, because hey it is hair after all! Then lay flat to dry. Always keep in mind the mixing reds with white color
