Goldy Sailor Boy + Harold Sailor

For many years Goldy taught U.S. Sailors how to swim. As time passed, most of his fellow sailors found wives, but not for Goldy. Then he met Harold and saw his mate for life. For years the two men hid their love in the spirit of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.” One day they said, “To hell with that,” and went public. There were a few punches, eggs thrown and torches on the lawn. But at long last their right to be together was accepted and celebrated.
