Place the acrylic template in the area where you would like to mount the speaker and use tape to temporarily hold it in place.  If you are using a large hole saw to cut the opening, mark the center location using the centering hole in the template.  If you are planning to use a jig saw to cut the opening you may mark the cutout diameter with a pencil using the small slots in the template.
