The Carrie mango, a descendant of the Julie mango and developed by the Zill family, has a well-established history as a backyard fruit tree. The fruits are small to medium and bountiful in their annual production. Considered a dessert mango, the fruit is sweet, and its strong aroma and Indian flavor profile is spice-heavy - especially appreciated in India and the Caribbean islands. The flesh, bursting in flavor. is fiberless and exceptionally creamy. Due to their semi-dwarf size, Carrie mango trees are considered a good choice for growing in containers. Fruit size: Small to medium (10-12 oz) Mature tree height with pruning: Semi-dwarf (8-12')
