Summer Sunrise Tomato
Maturing in 80 days, 'Summer Sunrise' is an indeterminate dwarf tomato variety characterized by its rugose, potato leaf foliage. By the end of the growing season, it typically grows to a height of four to five feet. This variety yields medium to large-sized (four to twenty-four ounces), smooth, bright yellow fruits with a distinct blossom end blush. 'Summer Sunrise' stands out from its similar counterpart, 'Summertime Gold,' due to larger seed cavities, slightly larger seeds, a more pronounced blush, and subtle flavor nuances. The fruits of 'Summer Sunrise' offer a well-balanced, full, and delicious flavor, while the plants exhibit strong disease tolerance and consistent yields throughout the season.Originating from the "Dwarf Tomato Project," 'Summer Sunrise' was selected from the "Sneezy family," resulting from a cross between 'Golden Dwarf Champion' and 'Green Giant,' initiated by Patrina Nuske Small in Australia in 2005.
