Size 22 Go Stones and Go Bowls Set - Slate & Shell - Size M Mulberry bowls - #C063

These Mulberry bowls are delicate and light, measuring about 13cm wide and 7.3cm tall. They were refurbished in my Colorado workshop - cleaned with turpentine, then treated with a Monkey Wax polish and given 3 weeks to cure. One lid seems to have been replaced with a rosewood / quince substitute, it is slightly darker and has denser grains. A video is available: https://imgur.com/a/0ys0Ywz The white stones are Japanese clams, with a patina from age. They are slow-growing clams, unlike the giant clams of Mexico. I would guess call them Snow-grade for their dense lines, but some have small nicks from use over time. They have been soaked in h2o2 for a week, washed with distilled water, and buffed with plain wax. The black are slate. There are 180 of each color, plus 5 extra white spares.
